What is My Instructional Design Process?

Analyze

In this stage, a multitude of analyses including learner, task, or needs are used to determine the learning gap and which modality of learning, if any, is appropriate. 

Design

Once the form of learning modality is determined to be appropriate to the learning gap, the design of the learning module, presentation, or job aide is created. Systemic attention is given to the content through learning objectives, subject analysis, and lesson planning as well as to the visual and technical strategy. 

Develop

The art and beauty of the design phase comes to life during development. Creative and engaging interactions are at the forefront, making certain to include all 9 of Gagne's Events of Instruction.
